Coming Home

I am home from  a wonderful time in Bogotá Colombia. This truly is a great country with the most delightful people...and of course the presence of the Lord in the Church and the passion of young people worshiping is the biggest delight ever!

Here is a look at the last days and the journey home:

Fabulous musicians - fabulous brothers
Nicel, Pricel, Harold

Last meal (Crepes, Ice Cream, Arequipe!!)
(Edgar...please note...I also had some protein...maybe!)
It tastes so much better with friends

Filming some short teachings with Cesar the cameraman

Flying in to Miami -
my pictures cannot capture the color of that water - stunning

Flying in to Los Angeles

I came home with the loot!!! AREQUIPE!
Please note that there are SEVEN of them.
This is a wonderful caramel dip for fruit...or anything at all.
Everything tastes better with AREQUIPE!

I wanted to talk a little about this young couple - Andres and Angela Peña. (The baby is coming in January) I am so proud of them. They have a vision to see young people longing for more of God in every area of their lives. They have begun a ministry for hungry hearts: SOBREDOSIS - you can also find them on Facebook: HERE. Sobredosis means "Overdose" in English. Andres heard God call him to this ministry when he was on a bus, talking to the Lord during a very dry time in his life. He heard the Lord say, "You need an overdose...more of Me in every area of your life." This ministry is similar to TheCall (See TheCall HERE) in the USA - they gather young people in cities throughout Latin America for intensive meetings focusing on worship, preaching and the arts. I saw the fruit of Sobredosis as I worked with an on fire bunch of young people all week. Awesomeness! Go God! Go Andres and Angela! God is about to do wonders through this ministry!

Father - I pray for Your blessings over Colombia. Watch over all my friends in La Casa, Puento Largo and Beth Shalom School. May Your presence be their portion:

Psalm 27:4-6 (NLT)
4 The one thing I ask of the Lord—

the thing I seek most—
is to live in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,

delighting in the Lord’s perfections
 and meditating in his Temple.
For he will conceal me there when troubles come;

he will hide me in his sanctuary.

He will place me out of reach on a high rock.
Then I will hold my head high
 above my enemies
who surround me.

At his sanctuary I will offer sacrifices with shouts of joy,
singing and praising the Lord with music.
